You'll be surprised with how easy it was. It comes with a roll of adhesive you can cut. The letters are not heavy so you don't need much adhesive at all, I ended up with plenty of extra I might use to hang some other things. Just cut some thin strips for the straight lines on the letters which worked out to about two thin strips per word. Looks very cute in my daughter's nursery.
