Electrical or duct tape would do the trick, but these look better and are inexpensive, so ...

It's nice that you get ten of these in a package, since you're likely to use them all sooner or later and buying them one by one or in pairs would add up. There's a lot of pressure on the feet and it's easy for these to come off When they do come off, you could just use electrical or duct tape to cover the foot of the lid so it won't scratch the lid. But. why do that when you can buy these for such a reasonable price.


Saved my kegs

Before this purchase my cornie kegs were subjected to scratches from the unprotected barbs on my lid. No more unnecessary abuse
